TO MAKE A PURCHASE Click on any item you wish to purchase, which will put the chosen item into your shopping basket. Having finished your selection click on 'Order” and you will then be asked a number of questions in order to complete your order.
Once your order is received we will e-mail an acknowledgment.
We do not charge for any item until it is ready to be despatched.
We accept the following credit/debit cards – Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta or Electron. Please note that if you are shopping from outwith the U.K. your credit card company will convert the transaction into your own currency.
PAYMENT AND PRICING All prices on the website are shown inclusive of VAT in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and will be billed in British Pounds Sterling. We accept debit and credit card payment online. Please be aware that if your credit/debit card supplier operates using another currency, they will convert payment from British Pound Sterling (GBP) to their operating currency at their current exchange rates.
Prices quoted on our website are for internet purchases only. Please note prices through telephone mail order and at the quilt shows may vary.
ORDER SHIPPING AND DELIVERY Products and services to be supplied within the United Kingdom are despatched by the Royal Mail or our insured courier service. Kaleidoscope will make all reasonable efforts to ship your order within 48 hours. You should receive your order in approximately 2 to 5 working days. Our working days are Monday to Saturday, excluding Bank Holidays. Please note that if you place an order after 2.00p.m. on a Friday the first working day for processing will be the following Monday. Whilst Kaleidoscope may not be able to guarantee an exact delivery date or time, we aim to deliver the products ordered within the time frame specified by us. If you require an order urgently i.e. next day please note we have a Priority Service.
Priority Orders received after 3pm on a Friday afternoon will be posted on Saturday or Monday morning.
UK SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Postage and packing charges apply to all items purchased. We have two levels of service: Standard Service and Priority Service. Within mainland U.K. internet orders over the value of £10.00 are sent carriage free via standard service. Orders under the value of £10.00 are charged carriage of £2.95. All orders are sent via standard service unless you elect for the Priority Service which costs £5.00 with maximum parcel weight 5kg. There is a flat rate postage charge of £6.00 for orders to the Channel Islands
We will acccept orders through telephone mail order but please note there will be a post and packing charge of up to £7.95.
U.K. PRIORITY SERVICE
This service guarantees that your order will be forwarded within 24 hours of placing your order by Royal Mail First Class Post or DPD Courier.
OVERSEAS ORDERS We have a flat rate postage charge for European destinations. The postal charge and approximate delivery time frame for each country is shown below in the chart. Please note that we cannot send rolls of wadding outside the U.K. due to postal charges. We are happy to arrange delivery at any show we attend in Europe.
All overseas orders are sent via DPD which is a trackable service. Delivery by DPD service in Europe is usually within 2-5 days of despatch. Customers will be sent a tracking number via the e-mail address provided on their order.
If you give an incorrect delivery address and a parcel is returned to us or undelivered because of this error, we reserve the right to charge additional postage to cover the re-sending of your parcel to the correct address.
OVERSEAS destinations to which Kaleidoscope will accept online orders: Europe:- Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
Zone 1 - Channel Islands, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Republic of Ireland. Flat rate of £6.00. Zone 2 - Austria, Denmark. Flat rate of £12.00. Zone 3 - Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia and Spain (excluding Canary Islands). Flat rate of £12.00. Zone 4 - Finland, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Estonia, Hungary, Slovenia. Flat rate of £14.00. Zone 5 - Latvia & Lithuania. Flat rate of £20.00. Zone 6 - Canary Islands, Bulgaria, Reunion, Tunisia, Turkey. Flat rate of £25.00 up to 2kgs. Zone 7- Countries Outside the EU - Norway and Switzerland. Flat rate of £22.00 up to 2gs. Over 2 kgs, the postage is £30.00.
Zone 8 - America, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand - Flat rate of £30.00 up to a maximum weight of 5kgs.
Zone 9 - Russia and South Africa - Flat rate of £50.00 plus vat up to a maximum weight of 5kgs.
If you live in a country not listed above and wish to place an order, please contact Kaleidoscope via e-mail email@example.com. The flat rate charge of £30 postage to America, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Russia and South Africa is limited to a maximum weight of 5kgs. If the total weight of your order is over 5kgs then we will be in contact to advise you of the total postage charge.
TAX CHARGES All our prices are shown inclusive of VAT except for books which do not incur VAT. If you are ordering from any of the following countries the VAT will be refunded to you-: Jersey, Guernsey, Norway, Switzerland, Gibraltar and the Canary Islands. Please note when ordering goods for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes levied once your order reaches the country of destination. Any additional charges must be accepted by you. We have no control over these charges.
BACK ORDERS You will be notified by e-mail if an item is out of stock. We will cancel your order and at your request send an e-mail when the item becomes available.
DEBIT AND CREDIT CARD SECURITY Credit and debit card processing is handled in a secure manner using Sage Pay. Kaleidoscope does not see or store your card details at any time. Your card is charged at the time the order is despatched.
RETURNS POLICY If you are unhappy with your purchase, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from date of delivery. Should you wish to return any products to Kaleidoscope, all e-mails should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org You should include your full name and address, your telephone number, the Sage Pay transaction ID and a complete description of any problems and/or issues. This should be done within 7 days of receipt of the goods. We are happy to refund any product (except cut fabric and DVD’s), provided the goods are in perfect condition. Where you are withdrawing from your purchase and there has been no error on our part, we will refund only the cost of the item. We will not refund the postal charge incurred by you in returning the item to Kaleidoscope.
When returning an item to Kaleidoscope please return the goods in the original packaging. It is strongly advised that you request a Proof of Posting from the Royal Mail or return the parcel by Registered Post. The Proof of Posting is your insurance in case the parcel goes missing or is damaged in transit
DAMAGED GOODS Upon receiving your goods you should immediately inspect all items for any damage. If the package looks tampered with or appears to have been damaged you should either refuse to accept it or, when sent via Courier, mark the Courier’s sheet to show this and accept your goods. Please inform Kaleidoscope immediately if you find any damage by e-mailing email@example.com As with our returns policy, you should include all of the information outlined above. Kaleidoscope accepts no responsibility for damages reported after 48 hours of receipt.
We will refund the delivery charges incurred in returning the damaged item to us by refunding your return postage cost. We check all items returned to us and if we cannot find a fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item and to recover any costs in recovering it from you.
Gift Vouchers include a complimentary gift card which is sent p&p free. Please note when the card is redeemed there is a postal charge for sending the products. Gift Vouchers can be redeemed against all products we sell except class fees.
