Retail Shop

In light of current Government restrictions on social contact to reduce the transmission of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have decided to temporarily close our shop to visiting customers from Friday 20 March. Our priority is to keep our colleagues, family, customers and the community safe.

We have contacted all our students and the current 6 week courses and classes have been postponed until it is safe to resume.

Our online business and telephone mail order are busy processing orders with daily Royal Mail collections. Customers can place orders on our website or via telephone mail order - 01786 870 079.

The majority of our orders are despatched within 48 hours via Royal Mail First Class Post or Courier.
Please keep safe, look after yourselves and your loved ones.
We have received numerous e-mails of support with customers sending their best wishes. I would like to thank everyone for their continued support. Stay safe during this difficult time and we will all meet again when it is safe to do so.

Courses and Workshops

We are delighted to welcome wonderful teachers to our shop teaching a selection of courses and one day workshops. Our next courses start end of January 2020.

To book a class contact us in the shop, online or phone 01786 870 079.
We hold our classes in our spacious first floor classroom. In our classes you will have a full sized 6 foot table to yourself, an ergonormic chair and additional table lighting.
There are 2 ironing stations and plenty of plug points sewing machines and accessories. Plus you have the whole shop on hand in case you've forgotten something!
Students can bring a pack lunch to class and there are tea and coffee facilities during the day. Park in our large carpark outside the shop which makes it very easy when bringing equipment.
Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machines which must have been Pat Tested within the 12 months prior of the class date. We can recommend a local Pat Testing company.
There are two customer toilets including a fully compliant disabled loo.

Prior to the class and or courses you will receive the requirements list. If you buy your fabrics for a particular workshop in our shop in one transaction then you are entitled to a 10% discount. This includes any books recommended by the teacher.
